Workshop Terms & Conditions - Local Business

Phlora is unable to host events at their location at this time. Workshop locations will need to be arranged by the business before finalizing workshop details including tables. Phlora does max 2 events per month and requires advanced notice for scheduling (see details below). Workshops can be held Tuesday - Friday after 6pm, and Saturday - Monday after 2pm.

FOR LOCAL BUSINESS-HOSTED EVENTS

We offer two different types of hosting options - Co-Hosted and Phlora Run/Local Business Hosted.

CO HOSTED: This is a workshop where we both contribute something to the event and split up totals from ticket sales based on what we each charge, and we both contribute to marketing the event. You provide the location/space/tables for the workshop. Phlora will use its website platform to sell tickets (Squarespace platform). Our platform does not charge for sales but our payment processor, Stripe, does. They take 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, which will be deducted from total sales profits. Most other ticketing options charge more than this, I have found that Squarespace is the better option. Squarespace will allow me to create a landing page for the event, with information provided before an attendee purchases a ticket.

PHLORA RUN/LOCAL BUSINESS HOSTED: Phlora contributes only to the event, and the local business hosts and does not take any sales from tickets. The local business does not contribute anything physical to the event but can still market the event for exposure. Tickets are sold online. The business provides the location/space/tables for the workshop.

Types of Workshops Offered

PAYMENT TERMS

Both classes require a minimum of 5 people. If we are unable to sell 5 tickets within 7 days of the event date, the event will be canceled and ticket holders will be refunded their money. When an attendee purchases tickets, their terms and conditions will state that we have the right to cancel an event within 7 days of the workshop date, with a full refund to the attendee.

Phlora sells tickets through its website and collects money via Stripe. If the local business is also contributing, Phlora will send payment to the business. Ticket sales close 7 days before the event, Phlora will send money to business 2 days before the event via check or Zelle. Phlora gives discounts to our Flower Club members, this discount will come out of Phlora’s profits from the ticket sales. All profits from ticket sales will include the Stripe fees that are charged. EX: Business charges $10 for their participation, we sell 10 tickets. Business will receive $94.10 ($100 total sales, less 2.9% [100-2.9% = $97.10], less $3.00 [10 tickets x $0.30])

No refunds for ticket holders on tickets within 7 days of the event, unless the event is canceled for low ticket sales.

Phlora will charge a travel fee for any event outside of 15 miles of 97124
